About Nanda Ghunti Peak Expedition

Nanda Ghunti Peak Expedition is located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Our mountains have a lot of affection for Mother Nanda Devi. Therefore this mountain here is known as Nanda Ghunti Peak, Its height is 6,309 meters. Trekkers get a clear view of the Nanda Ghunti route to Roopkund and Bedni Bugyal in the Himalayas. Mount Nanda Ghunti Expedition is only for experienced trekkers and aspiring climbers, Mount Nanda Ghunti Expedition is difficult expedition it’s not that easy, To climb this expedition, you have to be a good mountaineer and experienced, Those with high fitness levels and procedures and prior knowledge of the use of technical equipment or notes, ropes and cramps more.

Day 1: Pick up to you from Dehradun Drive to Sutol – 250 km by taxi (8/9 Hours) (7,875 ft) overnight stay Hotel / Camp.

Day 2: Rest day in Sutol for acclimatization.

Day 3: Trek from Sutol to Lata Khopri camp (08 km) (4/5 Hours) (9689 ft).

Day 4: Trek from Lata Khopri to Homkund/Base Camp (08 km) (5/6 Hours) (13,450 ft).

Day 5: Rest or Acclimatization Day at Base Camp.

Day 6: Base Camp to Advanced Base Camp (15,092 ft) (7/8 Hours) and back to Base Camp.

Day 7: Base camp to ABC (15,092 ft).

Day 8: ABC to Camp 01 (18,373 ft) and back to ABC.

Day 9: ABC to Camp 01 (18,373 ft).

Day 10: Camp 01 to Summit Camp (19,357 ft) and back to Camp 1.

Day 11: Camp 1 to Summit Camp (19,357 FT).

Day 12: Summit Camp to Summit (20,699 FT) and back to Camp 1.

Day 13 & 14: Reserved for a summit attempt.

Day 15: Camp 1 to Base Camp/Homkund camp.

Day 16: Trek from Base Camp to Sutol (8/9 Hours).

Day 17: Drive from Sutol to Dehradun – (250 km) (8/9 Hours).

How to Reach Nanda Ghunti Peak

By Air :

Jolly Grant airport situated in Dehradun which is well connected with major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore etc.

By Train :

Dehradun Railway Station is situated at a distance of about 2 km from the city center. Major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Varanasi, Ujjain and Indore are connected by regular as well as frequent train services from the main city.

By Bus:

Dehradun has good connectivity of buses from Delhi. One can get a bus to Dehradun. The bus service is available all day with buses leaving every half an hour.

In the event of cancellation of expedition/adventure activity services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows: -

  • In the event of cancellation of any expedition/adventure activity services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reasons, we must be notified the same via mail at info@outsideexplorer.com.
  • If the trek is cancelled by us due to any reason (heavy snowfall, rainfall, natural disaster etc.) then the refund would not be initiated but you can go on the same trek another year.
  • The cancellation charges are as follows:
  • -No bank charges deducted will be Refundable.
  • -Up to 30 Days – 90% cost is Refundable.
  • -Between 21 to 30 Days – 50% cost is Refundable.
  • -Less than 20 Days – No Refund.
  • -Refunds are initiated in 7-8 business days.
